Private Selection Molten Chocolate Cake (Courtesy of Kroger and Bzz Agent)

I am a panelist at a lovely website, BzzAgent. They match you up based on a multitude of points, to consumer products for you to test and try.

I was selected for a Private Selection Campaign  courtesy of Kroger family of stores. Private Selection is Kroger's in house brand.

Now for the good stuff.

I was selected to try an 'upside down cake' by private selection.

Flat out, finding these things were a pain in the BUTT. They were in an obscure section of the store away from the rest of the frozen desserts, near the bagels. But my my was it worth it!

My particular store did not have a Pineapple upside down cake in the large size (which greatly disappointed my SO) but they did have a Molten Chocolate Lava Cake.

I'm a sucker for chocolate.

Well. I got it home. I unwrapped it and pre-heated my oven to 350 per the instructions. I came in a nifty oven ready tray read to go and pre cooked... I just had to heat it through.

10 minutes in the oven and it came out hot and melt-y. (Is melty a word?)

Upon trying it.. I'm pretty sure my taste buds died, went to heaven and came back.
YUM!
Even the not so much of a fan of chocolate other half, tried to go for seconds!

The cake did dry out over night, despite being in an air tight container, so its not the best for left overs.
But for easy prep and taste?

This ones a winner!

On a side note, I did also purchase Private Selection Pineapple upside down cake, which came in mini form, 2 mini cakes to a box. My SO said flat out, its the best pineapple cake hes ever had, it was just missing a cherry (which I was happy to provide)

I can't wait to try the bigger version!
